Edna Gabriela, best known as Gabriela Willer, is a Mexican actress, who was born on October 10th. She is daughter of the television and voice actress, Liza Willer. She has two children, called Gabriela and Rebeca Michelle. Gabriela "Gaby" Willer has worked as actress since an early age, in art fields such as theater, cinema, television and radio, nevertheless the most important of them throughout her whole career has been "Dubbing", which refers to the substitution of the voices of the actors shown on the screen by those of different performers. Gabriela Willer is currently working for many dubbing mexican studios.
During the 70's and 80's, she was known in the dubbing industry and credited as Edna Gabriela.
Gaby's mother, Liza Willer, was also an actress and she performed in many mexican soap operas such as "Rubí", "Rosalinda", "Cañaveral de Pasiones", "Mariana de la noche", so to speak. She also performed in mexican films and theater plays. At the same time, during her forty-year career, Liza worked in the dubbing field which took place in Mexico for the Latinoamerican spoken versions of a thousand of movies, providing her voice to English speaking actresses such as Stockard Channing, Shirley MacLaine, Whoopi Goldberg, among others. Liza willert died of cancer on July 10th, 2009, aged 69. Gabriela Willert or simply called "Gaby", was brought into the Mexican dubbing world by her mother, Liza Willer. At an early age, she was used to accompany her mother to the dubbing studios located in Mexico, thereby some producers asked Liza Willert for a Gaby's voice sample, because they wanted young Gaby to voice children characters in series, movies and cartoon series spoken in foreign languages, which were going to be dubbed into Spanish language. Gaby's first experience at voicing was at the age of 7, being the Latin American Spanish voice for Laura Ingalls (portrayed by Melissa Gilbert) in "Little house on the prairie" series. Gabriela Willer is also best known as the Latin American Spanish voice for Kevin Arnold (performed by Fred Savage) in "The wonder years" and Daniel Mitchell in cartoon series "Dennis, the menace". She has also voiced many American TV Series such as "E.R.", "Third Watch", "I'm with her", "Providence", "Baywatch", among others. Furthermore, she had provided her voice to many English speaking actresses such as Uma Thurman, Kelly Preston, Madonna, Melannie Griffith, Sissy Spacek, Goldie Hawn, Katherine Zeta-Jones, Hilary Swank, Winona Ryder, Kate Winslet, Salma Hayek, among others for the Latin American dubbed versions for the films in which they appear. At the same time, she has voiced Japanese cartoons or anime series, such as "Dragon Ball Z", "Sakura Cards Captor", "Sailor Moon", among others. On the other hand, she also works as 'Voice Casting Director' for many movies, TV series, soap Operas, cartoons series, all of them spoken in foreign languages, to be dubbed into Latin American Spanish. Another relevant aspect of her labour as voice actress, is that she works providing her voice to publicity spots or television advertisements for important enterprises and companies such as Mattel, Ski, Nestle, among many others. Concerning publicity spots or TV advertisements, she has been voicing "Mamá Lucha" (Or 'Wrestler mum') since 2008. 'Mamá Lucha' is a fictional cartoon character which takes part in the television publicity for 'Bodega Aurrerá' (that is a Mexican discount-store). Mamá Lucha represents the role of all the mexican housewives who would become wrestlers in order to buy products or food at lower prices. In Bodega Aurrerá television publicity, Gabriela also works using her voice as narrator or singing some of the jingles (they are those catchy songs which take place in TV spots used for advertising). Gabriela Willer has also worked voicing in "Chocomilk" advertising (that is a Mexican milky drink). For these publicity spots, she has provided her voice to "Pancho Pantera", for over twenty years.

She also Performed in the play "El proceso" (The process), written by Fran Kafka and directed by Héctor Azar. There Gaby shared scenes with the starring actor, Carlos Ancira. Afterwards, she performed in the comedy play "Sabadito Alegre" (Happy Little Saturday), written by Alfonso Paso, and where she shared scenes with Armando Calvo y Nadia Haro Oliva. She performed in the play "La Corbata" (The tie), also written by Alfonso Paso, co-starring with Gustavo Rojo, Jorge Ortíz de Pinedo and Lorena Velásquez. She also performed in the play "La lucha se hace" (Wrestling is made), directed by Héctor Bonilla, and sharing scenes with José Alfonso and Roberto Sosa. Later, she performed in the play "El ángel ambiental" (The environmental angel), directed by Héctor Bonilla, co-starring with Roberto Sosa and Huracán Ramírez's son. She performed in the play "La casa de Bernarda Alba" (Bernarda Alba's house), directed by Liza Willer and playing the role of "Adela".

During the 70's she appeared on "La canica azul" TV Show. She also appeared on mexican soap operas for television, such as "Gabriel y Gabriela" (1982), "Principessa" (1984) and some episodes of "Mujer casos de la vida real" (during the 2000's) and one episode of "La rosa de Guadalupe" in 2008. She also appeared on mexican TV Shows such as "XH Derbez", "La familia peluche" and "El Hospital el Paisa" in 2006.

. At an early age, she started her cinema career, performing in "Sabor a mí" (1988), directed by René Cardona Jr. In that film, she worked with actors such as José José, Carmen Salinas, Angélica Aragón, Eugenia Avendaño, among others.
She also performed in films such as "Tiburón" and "¡Pum!" (1981), the last one was directed by José Estrada and sharing some scenes with Olga Ramos, Yolanda Lievana, Liza Willert, among others. Another film, in which she appeared was "Alicia en el país del dólar" (1988), directed by Benito Alazraki, sharing scenes with Jorge Ortíz de Pinedo, and Carmen Salinas. Her first starring role was in the film "Arriba el telón" in 1989, which was directed by Benito Alazkari.
She also worked in the Spanish and American co-production, "Guyana: The crime of century" in 1979, directed by Rene Cardona Jr. In that film. Gabriela played an indian girl.

She also worked at 'Bar Guau', which is a Nightclub located in Mexico City, where actors perform comedy sketches. In that place, Gabriela worked as an impersonator. She starred a comedy show, which took place in a Caribbean cruise. At the age of 16, she travelled to Japan, to participate as a contestant in a choral competition. During the 2000's, she worked in a radio drama with Humberto Zurita. Due to the success of the radio show, both actors received a 'Bravo' award in 2003.
